About K V MacLeod

K V MacLeod was born and raised in Burlington, VT, USA and lived for a time in Chicago, IL. They are now enjoying living in the Netherlands with their partner and child.

K V Macleod has been writing since they were little and is excited to be close to publishing their first novel in a series they are working on soon. They like to write romantasy, fantasy, and romance and often their stories include LGBTQIA+ characters, those from different backgrounds, and/or people of different body types. K V feels that it’s important to represent many types of people in their stories, as well as give readers a chance to find oneself in a story, whether in a main character or a minor one. K V enjoys creating characters who are layered and complicated instead of just one-dimensional and homogeneous.

In their spare time, K V also sews, crafts, builds puppets, creates costumes, and loves video and board games. An avid theatre-lover and casual thespian, they enjoy attending the theatre, which sometimes also means supporting their partner or child in a show. K V regularly can be seen at a local comic con or renaissance faire with their family.
